The Greek term parátaxis refers to an arranging in order for battle. The life-sized figures are rendered in vibrant colors and placed in close proximity to one another, simulating the orderly alignment of soldiers.
Throughout her creative career, Diana Iordanidou has consistently explored the portrayal of human form, but in this specific collection, she finally embraced her longstanding wish to represent Greece and its cultural narrative. Her profession as an architect consistently impacts the manner in which she communicates her concepts.
